Hypervisor-Based Workaround for GPLv3 Anti-Tivoization Bug

Check out this whitepaper which explains how a hypervisor can be used to run GPLv3 (or v2) software while complying with the anti-Tivoization requirement of the GPLv3.

It’s interesting how the workaround doesn’t apply to GPL-based hypervisors such as Xen. And possibly also to VMware, if recently reignited suspicions one day turn out to be correct.
